Booking staff through Quarterdeck usually works in six steps.
1. Submit a request
You can submit either a general request if you want Quarterdeck to recommend the best available match, or a specific request if you want a particular Staff Member. There is no charge to submit a request unless Quarterdeck expressly states otherwise.
2. Quarterdeck reviews your requirements
Quarterdeck may ask for more information before recommending or confirming a Staff Member. This can include the role required, dates, location, service expectations, accommodation and travel arrangements, guest or client profile, legal or compliance requirements, and any other details relevant to the Assignment. This helps Quarterdeck assess the request and propose the most suitable person.
3. Quarterdeck checks availability and suitability
If you request a specific Staff Member, Quarterdeck will assess whether that person is available and suitable for the Assignment. If they are unavailable, unsuitable, or no longer offered through Quarterdeck, Quarterdeck may recommend a suitable alternative. Submitting a request does not guarantee that Quarterdeck will be able to fill it.
4. Quarterdeck confirms the booking
A booking is only secured when Quarterdeck has confirmed the booking in writing and you have paid the required deposit or other amount due at that stage. Until both of those things have happened, no booking is secured.
5. You pay the deposit
If you decide to proceed, a 50% deposit of the Booking Price is required to secure the Booking. Unless Quarterdeck agrees otherwise in writing, the remaining 50% balance is due 30 days before the Start Date. If the Start Date is within 30 days of Booking Confirmation, the full Booking Price may be due immediately.
6. Quarterdeck coordinates the final assignment arrangements
Once the booking has been confirmed and the required payment has been made, Quarterdeck coordinates the next steps for the Assignment. Depending on the booking, this may include introducing you to the Staff Member, sharing operational details, and confirming final arrangements.
