That depends on the length and structure of the Assignment.
For shorter assignments, the process is usually faster and more direct. For longer-term placements, Quarterdeck may share more detail, present multiple suitable candidates, and support an interview or selection process before the booking is confirmed.
Shorter assignments
For shorter bookings, Quarterdeck will usually assess the brief, check availability and suitability, and recommend the most suitable available Staff Member as quickly as possible.
Because these bookings often need to move fast, the process is usually kept simple. Quarterdeck may not run a longer interview or multi-candidate selection process for short assignments.
Longer-term placements
For longer or more strategic placements, Quarterdeck may run a more detailed process.
This can include:
presenting more than one suitable candidate
sharing more detailed profile information
arranging interviews or calls
supporting a more structured selection process
This is more common where the assignment is longer, more senior, more operationally important, or where the hiring party wants a higher level of input into the final match.
When direct introductions happen
Quarterdeck may introduce you to a proposed or confirmed Staff Member as part of the booking process. However, Quarterdeck may delay releasing direct contact details, making a formal introduction, or confirming final Assignment arrangements until the relevant payment requirements have been met.
Why the process is different
Shorter assignments usually need speed and availability first. Longer placements usually justify a more detailed matching and interview process.
In summary
For short assignments, Quarterdeck will usually move quickly and recommend the best available match. For longer-term placements, Quarterdeck may present multiple candidates, share more information, and support interviews before the final booking is confirmed.
