When do I need to pay the deposit and final balance?

Learn when the deposit and final balance are due for a Quarterdeck staff booking, including how payment works for shorter assignments, consecutive weekly bookings, and longer monthly placements.

Payment for a staff booking through Quarterdeck follows a 50% deposit and 50% balance structure.

A 50% deposit of the Booking Price is required to secure the Booking. The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days before the Start Date of the Assignment, unless Quarterdeck agrees something different with you in writing.

The deposit

A 50% deposit of the Booking Price is required to secure the Booking. The Booking is only secured once Quarterdeck has issued a Booking Confirmation and the required deposit has been paid in cleared funds.

The final balance

The remaining 50% balance is due 30 days before the Start Date of the Assignment, unless Quarterdeck agrees a different arrangement with you in writing.

Paying in full

Quarterdeck may withhold the Staff Member's direct contact details, the formal introduction, or final Assignment arrangements until the Booking Price has been paid in full.

If the Assignment starts soon

If the Start Date falls within 30 days of the Booking Confirmation, the full Booking Price is payable immediately, or within any shorter period Quarterdeck specifies in writing.

Important point

A Booking is only secured once Quarterdeck issues a Booking Confirmation and the required deposit has been paid in cleared funds. If payment is late, Quarterdeck may suspend the Booking, withhold introductions or Assignment details, withdraw the proposed Staff Member, or cancel the Booking in line with the Staff Booking Terms.

In summary

A 50% deposit secures the Booking, and the remaining 50% balance is due 30 days before the Start Date. If the Start Date falls within 30 days of the Booking Confirmation, the full Booking Price is payable immediately, or within any shorter period Quarterdeck specifies in writing.
