Not unless Quarterdeck agrees in writing.
If Quarterdeck introduces a Staff Member to you, that introduction is made for the purpose of evaluating, confirming, and carrying out a Booking through Quarterdeck. You must not directly or indirectly hire, engage, employ, contract with, pay, or otherwise retain that person outside Quarterdeck unless Quarterdeck has given its prior written consent.
What counts as direct hire?
Direct hire includes any arrangement outside Quarterdeck, such as employing the person internally, engaging them as a contractor or consultant, placing them on your payroll, retaining them through an affiliate or related company, or otherwise continuing to use them outside the Quarterdeck booking structure.
Can I extend or renew an assignment with the same person?
Yes, but it must be arranged through Quarterdeck. If you want to extend, repeat, renew, or materially vary an Assignment with a Staff Member introduced by Quarterdeck, that must still go through Quarterdeck and remain subject to the applicable terms.
What if I want to hire the person long term?
If you want to move a Quarterdeck Staff Member into an internal employee role, direct contractor role, longer-term exclusive role, or another arrangement outside Quarterdeck, you must first notify Quarterdeck in writing and obtain Quarterdeck’s prior written consent.
Quarterdeck may agree to this through a separate transfer, buyout, or conversion agreement and payment of the applicable fee. Quarterdeck has absolute discretion as to whether to agree to such an arrangement.
What if I deal with the Staff Member outside Quarterdeck anyway?
That would be treated as a breach of the Staff Booking Terms. Quarterdeck may suspend or withdraw the Booking, stop dealing with you, and claim any losses, damages, fees, commissions, costs, or other sums reasonably incurred or lost as a result.
How long does this restriction apply?
The restriction applies during the Booking process, throughout the Assignment, and for 18 months after the end of the relevant Assignment. If no Assignment takes place, it applies for 18 months after the relevant introduction or proposed Booking.

You cannot hire a Quarterdeck Staff Member directly unless Quarterdeck agrees in writing. If you want to keep working with the same person, extend the Assignment, or move them into a direct or internal role, that must be arranged through Quarterdeck.
