You can ask Quarterdeck to change a confirmed Booking, but Quarterdeck is not obliged to agree.

Whether a change can be accepted depends on the nature of the change and the availability of suitable Staff Members.

What counts as a material change?

A material change can include changing the Start Date, end date, duration, location, role required, scope of work, service level, or operating conditions.

How Quarterdeck may treat the change

If you request a material change, Quarterdeck may treat it as either a variation to the existing Booking, if Quarterdeck agrees to the change in writing, or a cancellation of the existing Booking and a new booking request.

This depends on how significant the change is and whether a suitable Staff Member is still available for the revised Assignment.

Why a change may not be simple

Even if the same Staff Member was originally confirmed, a new date, location, role, or scope may affect availability, suitability, travel and accommodation planning, compliance requirements, pricing, and operational feasibility.

That is why some changes can be handled as an amendment, while others need to be treated as a new booking.

Does Quarterdeck have to accept the change?

No. Quarterdeck is under no obligation to agree to a requested change to a Booking.

If Quarterdeck cannot support the revised Assignment, the original booking terms may still apply, including the cancellation and refund rules if the original Booking is cancelled.
