Your insurance must specifically include:
Sailing and water sports coverage (not all standard policies include this)
Medical coverage abroad, including hospital care and repatriation
Trip cancellation or curtailment (to protect against last-minute illness or disruption)
Covid-19 coverage for both health treatment and travel disruption.
⚠️ Before booking, check your insurer’s fine print to confirm that sailing up to 12 nautical miles offshore is covered, as this is a common Academy activity.
