Quarterdeck does not provide personal travel insurance for Academy students. You are responsible for arranging and maintaining your own insurance for the full duration of the Course.
Your insurance must be appropriate for the Course you have booked and should cover the relevant activities and risks associated with that Course. Depending on the Academy, this may include:
sailing or other water-based activities
travel disruption
illness or medical expenses
personal accident
cancellation
Quarterdeck may ask you to provide proof of suitable insurance at any time before or during the Course.
If you do not provide satisfactory evidence of suitable insurance within a reasonable time, or if your policy does not provide appropriate cover for the Course booked, Quarterdeck may cancel your booking or refuse your participation in the Course. In that case, the cancellation and refund terms in your Academy Terms and Conditions will apply.
