If you want to raise a claim, or ask us to cover a cost you have incurred, write to the notice address on your security notice and set out what you are asking for.
What happens then
We log it and our team reviews it. We are not making individual compensation decisions over email while the investigation and the regulatory process are still running, and we are not going to give you an answer by return that we might have to change.
That is not a refusal and it is not a delaying tactic. It means the decision is being made properly rather than by whoever happens to answer your email.
Costs you have already incurred
If you have spent money because of this incident — replacing a document, changing bank arrangements, or something else you can evidence — tell us what it was and keep the receipt. Set it out in writing and it goes to the same review.
This is separate from anything you are owed for work
Raising a question about this incident has no bearing on payments due to you for assignments, on your standing for future work, or on any existing agreement. The two are handled by different people and are not connected. If you are chasing a payment for work, use your normal contact rather than the notice address.
Your rights are not affected by asking us first
Raising it with us does not limit anything else available to you. You can complain to your national data protection authority at any point, and you do not need our agreement to do it. Quarterdeck Life Ltd reported this incident to the UK Information Commissioner's Office under case reference IC-556590-F4V7.
If you have taken legal advice, say so and we will make sure your correspondence is routed accordingly.
