Yes, but the amount you receive depends on how far in advance you cancel before the Culinary Academy start date.
If you decide to cancel your booking, you must notify Quarterdeck in writing by email. Refunds are then calculated based on the Course start date as follows:
more than 120 days before the Course start date: 100% refund of the sums paid to date
101 to 120 days before the Course start date: 50% refund of the sums paid to date
61 to 100 days before the Course start date: 30% refund of the sums paid to date
60 days or fewer before the Course start date: 0% refund
No refund is available after the Course start date.
7-day cooling-off period
You may cancel your booking within 7 days of acceptance and receive a full refund of all sums paid, provided that the Culinary Academy start date is more than 28 days after acceptance.
If the Course start date falls within 28 days of acceptance, this 7-day cancellation right does not apply.
If you want to move your Culinary Academy instead of cancelling
You can ask to change your Course or Course start date, but changes are not guaranteed.
Quarterdeck will only consider a change if there is availability on the requested alternative Course or start date. If a transfer is approved, your original Date of Acceptance and original Course start date will still be used for payment deadlines, cancellation rights, and refund entitlement.
This means that moving your Culinary Academy to a later date or a later year does not reset the refund timeline.
If Quarterdeck cancels the Course
If Quarterdeck cancels Culinary Academy, all sums paid to Quarterdeck in respect of the cancelled Course or booking will be refunded.
Where cancellation is due to events outside Quarterdeck's reasonable control (for example epidemic, pandemic, public health restrictions, government action, travel restrictions, weather events, natural disaster, venue closure, or vessel unavailability), Quarterdeck may instead offer you a transfer to a later Course date, subject to availability, or a refund of all sums paid.
Quarterdeck is not liable for flights, accommodation, transfers, insurance costs, or other related losses, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
