The Level 2 Food Hygiene / Food Safety certificate (often called “Level 2 Food Safety in Catering”) is a basic food-safety qualification covering hygiene, cross-contamination, allergens, temperature control, storage, and cleaning standards.
You can complete it online in most countries. It’s usually a short course with a quick test at the end, and you’ll receive a digital certificate (PDF) to upload to your Quarterdeck profile.
Typical cost: around €15–€50 (sometimes a bit higher depending on the provider and country).
