No previous sailing experience is required. Sailing Academy is designed for beginners, and you will pass it as it is a stand-alone course aimed at people who want to learn how to sail, dock, and handle larger yachts.
That said, if your goal is to move on to Skipper Academy, it’s beneficial not to start completely from scratch. Skipper Academy is more demanding, and we hope that candidates already have some familiarity with sailing to increase their chances of success.
Sailing Academy is not only a Skipper Academy "prep course" — it is also a genuine course for anyone who owns, plans to own, or simply wants to learn how to sail.
